In order to obtain your best revenue and profits, you need to focus initially on your ideal customer set. In order to determine your ideal customer set, you need to answer questions in four categories.
These categories are;
1. Your ideal customer’s demographics. These include what industry they are in, what position they hold, etc.
2. Your ideal customer’s psychographics. These include such items as their vision, their position within their industry, etc.
3. Your ideal customer’s goals and key success factors, also known as key performance indicators.
4. Your ideal customer’s Challenges, Issues or Problems
As you can see, if you really want to build your business the right way, you need to focus on the right customer set, and how you can deliver the right message and products/services to your ideal customer. These four categories will help you hone into your exact ideal customer, which is the best way to grow your business.
